Main structure of molten salt axial flow pump
Molten salt axial flow pump is based on the installation position of the pump shaft to divide into vertical, inclined and horizontal. They are only different with the pump body form. The internal structure is basically the same. Warwick pump produces the vertical axial flow pump.
The internal structure of the vertical axial flow pump. It is mainly composed of a pump body, impeller, guide blade device, import and export tube etc. The shape of the pump body is cylindrical and the impeller is fixed on the pump shaft. The pump shaft in the pump body has two bearings. The pump shaft by the top of the coupling is connected with the transmission shaft of the motor.
Impeller generally consists of 2 ~ 6 pieces of curved blade. The similar shape and the blades of the fan is similar and twisted. Leaf structure has two kind of fixed and helix angle. It can be adjusted. Adjustable blade has two kinds of the semi adjustable and fully adjusting. Semi adjustable blade is removable. If you change the angle of the blade degree, you can release by hands. The full adjustable is through a special servo mechanism to automatically change the blade angle. The most shaft of the large molten salt are full adjustable. At present, Warwick pump is studying trial the types of molten salt pump vane pump flow.
The guide vane device is conical or cylindrical in shape. It generally consists of 6 to 10 guide vanes. The guide vane device is to make the liquid flow from the impeller to flow the flow passage of the guide vane, then it increases the pressure to improve the efficiency of the pump.
Inlet pipe is shaped of trumpet, the outlet pipe is usually the elbow of the 60 degrees or 90 degrees. Its role is to change the direction of the liquid outflow.
