Working principle and structure of liquid pump

Working principle and structure of liquid pump

The impeller of the liquid pump is usually a centrifugal impeller, its typical structure is the structure of vertical centrifugal pump. The working principle is same with the centrifugal pump, The brief introduction is as follows.

1- Impeller nut   2- Pump body  3- Impeller  4- Back cover 5- Bracket component 6- foot
Warwick liquid pump is mainly composed of impeller, shaft, pump casing, seal and the sealing ring (Fig. 7-1). Before the general liquid pump starts, the pump shell is filled with liquid. When the original motivation drives the pump shaft and the impeller to rotate. The liquid is with leaf rotation circle to move and on the one hand it will fly from the impeller center periphery to the centrifugal force. The liquid from the leaf lost access to the static pressure and dynamic pressure. When the liquid flows through the spiral casing liquid discharge port, part of the dynamic pressure can be transformed into static pressure energy. In the liquid from the impeller, the impeller center part caused by the area of low pressure and suction surface pressure to form a pressure difference, and the liquid is continuously by suction, and with a certain pressure discharge.
For ordinary liquid pump, shaft seal is packing seal or sealing requirements; when the transmission medium containing gas and vaporization, the sealing requirements on a relatively strict; when the transport of high temperature molten salt, the liquid pump is molten salt pump, then seal to be considered resistant to high temperature and other special requirements.
