    Shaft design of high temperature submerged  pump

    The shafting parts of high temperature submerged  pump are usually used as a positioning and supporting at the top by a group of angular contact ball bearing. The shafting parts that lower end immersed to the medium all use sliding bearing for the slender shaft to form multi segment support. It combines with the structure of main support and auxiliary support and it greatly improve rotational stability and rigidity of the shaft.
    The contact ball bearing plays role in the following two aspects: it firstly plays a positioning of the rotor axial position and bears the axial force that it is a part of the residual axial force or rotor system occurs because of its own weight. Positioning the radial position of the rotor system makes the rotor and stator concentricity obtain guaranteed.
    The role of sliding bearing is that it can bear most of the radial force that the pump produces in operation process. The pump shaft would occur a large deflections and radial beat due to lack of rigidity and produced. If so, it would reduce the vibration and mechanical losses of the pump. It plays an key role for the pump long-term reliable operation, but it does not bear the axial force.
