Effect of manufacturing precision on high temperature molten

    High temperature molten salt pump performance is the external expression form that the molten salt moves the condition in the pump. And the movement of the liquid molten salt is decided by the geometry of the flow part. So, hydraulic flow of molten salt pump in the structure has unique core role. The hydraulic assembly accuracy flow is especially important after manufacturing and assembling. Hydraulic passage is the particular geometries and it exists in parts. And it is made by heat processing. Then we can determine the position in the whole system after the mechanical processing and assembling. Therefore, we should take reasonable technology measures in the manufacturing process for each process to ensure the pump precision reserves and meet the determining factors of the products’ performance.

    Hydraulic passage of high temperature molten salt pump is mainly arranged in the pump body and impeller. The flow passage of pump body is fixed. The design of the geometrical parameters should follow velocity moment keep theorem. And the impeller and shaft rotates together. Due to the action of the impeller blades, motion of the liquid in the impeller is constitute composite motion that it is consist of the convected motion and relative motion. In manufacturing process of the pump, due to all sorts of reasons, it results in machining of pump. The actual geometric center of the rotor does not coincide with the hydraulic flow.
    This change the flow field of liquid in the pump. It does not only affect the pump performance parameters such as flow, head and efficiency decreased, shaft power consumption increase, but also may cause imbalance of the rotor. It also affects pump vibration, overload ultra current and other fault.
