Molten salt heat transfer and storage system

    In the early days, molten salt is used in electricity metallurgy. As the further research of structure and character of molten salt and the development of science and technology, the applied fields is wider and wider，and molten salt plays a vital role in high-tech area. With the characteristics of wide temperature range, large heat capacity，good heat transfer performance, store heat energy through heat transfer medium and exchangers to heat molten salt; when the heat is needed, extract the stored heat energy through exchangers, heat transfer fluid and power pump. The molten salt is a kind of efficient high temperature heat storage medium, for it has low cost and god chemical and heat stability above 300℃.
     Nowadays, solar thermal power station technology rapidly develops with the engineering need for solar thermal power heat storage, which drives the development of molten salt heat storage technology. Molten salt as the heat transfer fluid of low cost, long service life ,high efficient, high temperature, high heat flux and low press, can improve the heat efficient, the reliability of components and economy of system, and realize constant operation of solar power station without the sun.
