Drainage system of the molten salt pump

The TES system was designed to be completely self-drainable. The molten salt lines along with the heat exchanger are sloped. Operation modes C. Prieto et al. / Renewable Energy 99 (2016) 852e866 861 that all molten salt can be drained back into the cold or hot salt storage tanks. Drains are provided on low points of all HTF lines.
