Control of Effluents

    The design of the test stand will provide the means necessary to maintain control over toxic and radioactive effluents, whether gaseous liquid, or solid, to protect personnel. The low level radioactivity is associated with 238 U and 232 th components in the test salt. Control will be maintained during normal operation and accident conditions to preclude the release of unsafe amounts of these effluents.
